The award will be presented to Mr. Quddus at the FMS event in Santa Clara, California on Tuesday August 4, 2026 at 3:20PM in the Mission City Ballroom, in recognition of his sustained leadership in industry standards organizations whose work has significantly advanced the memory and storage sector and the broader computing industry.
Mr. Quddus, Vice President, Standards and Technology Enablement, Samsung Semiconductor, has served as Chairman of the JEDEC Board of Directors since 2004. During his 22-year tenure, JEDEC has played a central role in advancing the industry through open standards that have supported the rapid growth of cloud computing, AI, mobile devices, automotive electronics, and high-performance computing.
